The way in which telephone calls are made has changed significantly in the last 15 years. Voice over IP has utilised the capacity and flexibility of the internet to drive down costs and make it easier to connect telephones around the world. Hosted VoIP takes this one step further and houses the telephone system on the internet (the cloud), rather than your premises. With the PSTN Shutdown only a few years away, you should be thinking about your business communications now!
Our hosted platform is based on the Asterisk system, a globally popular enterprise grade system which has been highly developed to suit the hosted environment. The platform itself is hosted in a purpose built datacentre in London's docklands, the hub of most of the UK's internet traffic. With a backup node in Hertfordshire and a development node in North London, you can be assured of maximum uptime, low-disruption maintenance, and a reliable, stable service.
The system is highly configurable, giving you all of the features and functions you'd expect from an on-premises system, without the cost and administration overheads. The system is handset agnostic, meaning any SIP enabled device or softphone can register to a user account to make and receive calls. Alternatively our native SIP handsets offer much more functionality. This means that you can migrate to Hosted VoIP immediately using your existing handset estate.
Easy! Get in touch with us and we'll help you every step of the way. One of our consultants will arrange a visit to take a look at your current infrastructure. We'll then work with you to ensure the system will perform all of the vital tasks you need it to. Once you have agreed the design we will begin the migration. Your existing telephone numbers will be moved into our platform where everything will be already set up, reducing down time to as little as possible. Depending on the scale of the implementation we can have engineers on site on the first day of service to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. User and administrator training can be provided if required, or the whole system can be fully managed by us here at Litenet. It's up to you!
An established business is likely to have a number, or series of numbers, already and it's probably important to you that this number is retained since it's the one your customers already know, it's on all of your marketing collateral and business cards, and it's all over your website..
No problem. We can port your numbers across to the platform so that your customer facing contact details remain exactly the same. If you ever want to leave us, you can port them away again.
New businesses or growing businesses might want to have new numbers or additional numbers added. We can take care of that too. With bronze, silver, gold and platinum+ numbers available you can choose how much you want to spend and what type of number you want.
We can offer all geographic numbers, allowing you to present a local number for an area you might not have a physical presence in. We also have non-geographic numbers available (0870, 0800, 0844 etc) and premium rate (09xx).

Managing your main inbound numbers can be easily achieved by using what is known as a Hunt Group. Send your inbound calls to multiple people at the same time, have them cycle round a group of users, or have them delivered to specific levels of users based on their availability.
Hunt groups ensure your inbound calls are handled efficiently by the relevant members of your team. Litenet can work with you to design these groups and ensure they are working exactly how you need them to.
Easily transfer a call around your office by utilising a feature known as "Call Parking". Once you have finished with the call simply park it in one of the parking locations and let the next person know: "there's a call on Park 2 for you"
Call Parking is a useful feature to make sure your callers don't feel as though they're being passed from pillar to post. Play them some music or information about your business while they wait for the correct person to retrieve them from their parking bay...
When there's a phone ringing on the other side of the office the last thong you want to do is get up and answer it... but you don't want to listen to it continually ringing either. Using a facility called "Call Pickup" you can pull the call to your own handset without getting out of your chair!
A simple but effective way to make sure calls into your business are answered in a timely fashion and callers aren't left feeling neglected.
We all know what voicemail is. Some love it, some hate it. Remove the hassle of dialling in to retrieve your messages by having them delivered to you as an attachment to an email. Simple, secure and much easier to manage. Or you could just use it the old fashioned way...
Voicemail is a standard feature and can be turned on or off depending on your user and business requirements.
Auto attendants get a lot of bad press, but the reality is a well designed and thought out call process can ensure your callers are delivered to the right area of your business in an efficient and timely manner. No more being transferred from one department to another. No need for multiple inbound numbers for your customers to remember.
Press 1 for Sales, Press 2 for Support, Press 3 for Accounts... you get the picture? Don't have the voice for it? Litenet can assist with professionally recorded greetings, using your scripts, in Male or Female voices.
There are a number of reasons why you might wish to record your calls depending on the type of business you operate. Typically Call Recording is used for training and quality purposes, but there are additional benefits such as providing evidence for legal proceedings, identifying malicious callers and recalling forgotten details from conversations.
Integrating with your CRM solution can bring immediate benefits to your business in terms of efficiency and customer service. Enabling your users to have instant access to the callers details in your chosen database.
Functions such as click to dial from Outlook, Lotus Notes, Google Contacts and their desktop can save time and frustration for your staff, particularly if they are making large numbers of calls.
Not always at your desk? No problem, with our app, for Android and iPhone, you can receive calls to your office on your mobile. Utilise your bundled minutes on our platform and project a corporate identity to your customers by presenting your main office number instead of a mobile.

This is just a selection of the functions and features available to you. Our platform also offers:
